This is the second project for Franco Niggeler, a friend of Circolo ANS on Lake Iseo. He decided to intervene on the blade and bulb of his Cookson 50’ Kuka 3. In carpentry, we assembled the blade with the canting keel mechanics, milling with CNC to align every component, and finishing with sandblaster and primer treatments. The bulb has been milled with numerical control, with the assistance of weight and centre of gravity compensation tanks. We are all ready for the next regattas. Fingers crossed for Kuka 3.
